سلسلة جديدة من المحاضرات بطريقة هجينة طرحها القسم الفرنسي لدراسة الآثار السودانية لإثراء البرنامج العلمي في قصر المنيرة.

قام المعهد بالعديد من الأعمال في النصف الأول من عام ٢٠٢٤ بهدف الحفاظ على مباني المعهد وتكييفها مع المتطلبات التقنية ومتطلبات العمل الجديدة. فقد تم تجديد الطابق الأول من الجناح الشرقي، حيث يوجد مقر الباحثين، بالكامل وتزويده بمعدات عمل جديدة (أثاث ومعدات تكنولوجيا المعلومات).

ارتبطت الحفلة السنوية للمعهد في السنوات الأخيرة باليوم الفرنسي المصري لعلم الآثار، حيث أقيمت في نهاية الأسبوع نفسه، يوم الخميس ١٣ يونيو.
